With instructions, and ready to assemble in 15 minutes!

A valance tarp has an extra trim piece covering the gap between the end of a standard tarp and the pipe frame. It hangs down about 6" all the way around the perimeter of the canopy, just like the valance on a set of curtains.
 

It serves two purposes. One is it dresses up the appearance of the unit, and two, if you decide to install end or side tarps to enclose your canopy,
the valance overlaps the area where the bungees are and
closes up the canopy more completely.
